A Muslim and a Jew Across the Middle East Divide

Categories: Book Talk
I thought you might all be interested in a recently published book called “Prisoners”, written by Jeffrey Goldberg – more information can be obtained at:
http://www.randomhouse.com/catalog/display.pperl?isbn=9780375412349).
I’m told the book is pretty interesting because, among other reasons, there is a whole section about Hashomer Hatzair (of which the author was a member) and its summer camp in New York, Camp Shomria. The thread of the book is his friendship with a Palestinian prisoner in an Israeli military prison in which he served as an army reservist in the early 1990s.”
