Ameinu has been following the tragic news from Israel with grave concern as a new wave of terrorism is sweeping the country. We grieve for all of the victims of terror in Israel. We also are deeply concerned by the loss of life on the Palestinian side and the stalemate in efforts to reach a two-state settlement with the Palestinians — a situation that endangers Israel’s future.

In response to this urgent crisis — and as part of our effort to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin z”l — Ameinu is joining with friends and partners from J Street, Americans for Peace Now, New Israel Fund, T’ruah and Partners for Progressive Israel for a series of collective actions.

Please join us on Wednesday, November 4th, at 3:00 p.m. ET for a call with Ameinu President Kenneth Bob and the leaders of our partner organizations. We will discuss our shared strategy to respond to this challenging moment, and how we are working together to strengthen our movement.

Living Rabin’s Legacy – A Collective Response to the Violence in Israel
Wednesday, November 4 | 3:00 p.m. (EST)
RSVP now for dial-in details.

Ameinu and our partners share common goals and values regarding peace, justice and reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians and have created a set of shared principles that condemn terror and recommit to working for a two-state solution and a future of hope, not a cycle of violence, for Israelis and Palestinians.

During the Town Hall, Ameinu will report on efforts with our Israeli partners to honor the legacy of Yitzhak Rabin and to answer their call for solidarity — both with victims of terror and with activists struggling to fulfill Rabin’s vision of peace, security and democracy.

Keep a look out soon for an action alert on an Ameinu campaign with a call-to-action to honor Rabin’s legacy through advocacy to promote his vision for Israel’s future.
