Ameinu, the American Labor Zionist organization, thanks you for your efforts to bring Israel and Syria closer to peace through negotiations.
The status quo has only led to more violence and all efforts by the US government to aid peace efforts are to be applauded. Since Congress is regularly asked to weigh in on issues involving Israel and its neighbors, your having done so during your visit is entirely appropriate.
