Zionist Union Provides Alternative to Netanyahu’s “Managing the Conflict”

Categories: Israel, Letters From Leadership, Partners On The Ground

Member of Knesset Amir Peretz, an important figure in the leadership of the Zionist Union, is planning to present this framework for a two-state agreement with the Palestinians to the Zionist Union this week. MK Peretz’s plan demonstrates that the Israeli opposition does not subscribe to the diplomatic intransigence of the Netanyahu government. Peretz’s plan is only a starting point for negotiations, but it provides a viable alternative to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s approach of merely “managing the conflict.”
