The ongoing conflict in Syria is a humanitarian disaster of massive proportions. It demands compassion and action from all of us, particularly to save the children caught in the middle of this destruction and dislocation.
I am sure you share my horror that President Trump, when faced with this crisis and the possibility of local communities allowing Syrian children to attend schools in the United States, he declared, “I can look in their faces and say, ‘You can’t come here.’”
The Israel-based Ziv Medical Center is providing care for Syrian children suffering from severe illnesses and injuries who cannot be treated at home because of the mass destruction of medical facilities in Syria.
Like the doctors, nurses and other caregivers at Ziv Medical Center, we are declaring:
“No Syrian Child Should Die on Our Watch!”
Project Rozana USA, an initiative of Ameinu, is organizing to help the Ziv Medical Center raise $75,000 by May 31, 2017 (NOW EXTENDED to June 30th, 2017) to bring Syrian children to Israel for life-saving treatment. There is still time to give!
On behalf of Ziv Medical Center, the Project Rozana team and the Syrian children desperately in need of care, I hope that you will join us in supporting Ziv and these youngest of victims of the Syrian conflict by clicking here to contribute to this campaign.
Thank you for your generosity.
Gideon Aronoff, Ameinu CEO
